After a storm in Santa Severa (close to Rome in Italy), a test has been done to check how a low cost UAV (Dij Phantom3 standard), could provide an overall view of existing possible damages affecting the castle wall. The resolution used was not very high (HD), but results achieved are usable for a quick analysis to decide if apply deeper diagnosis.

Further tests will be done with more sophisticated UAVs in the next future due some of project partners are building different solution using both LIDARs, Photogrammetry and Thermo-cameras to provide an extensive range of possible investigations.
