Low Cost Accelerometers Deployment at the Ephesus Great Theatre

On July 30th (2018), 2 additional MEMS type accelerometers were deployed at the same locations (basement-center and top of theatre-north wing) of available force-balance type accelerometers. Fully equipped domestic accelerometer station AREL DAC3-5D includes 3-component MEMS- SD©1521. It has a noise level of 5 µg. and a dynamic range of ± 2 g. Resilient communication was guaranteed between Site- BU.

STORM Projesi kapsamında Boğaziçi Üniversitesi tarafından satın alınan meteoroloji istasyonu projenin pilot sahası olan Efes Tiyatrosu güney sağ ucundaki yüksek kısma yerleştirilmiştir. Bu kurulumda amaç pilot sahadaki gerçek zamanlı meteoroloji verilerinden (güneş radyasyonu, yağış miktarı, sıcaklık, basınç, nem, çiğ noktası sıcaklığı, rüzgar şiddeti ve yönü gbi ) elde edilecek yararlı bilginin  STORM platformuna aktarılmasıdır.
